Sinatra Light

A homage to Achille Castiglioni – a reimagining of his iconic Parentesi (1971). Light on a tensioned wire, positioned exactly where you need it.

A taut wire rope spans from floor to ceiling across the full room height. Attached to it: a gently curved steel tube carrying the lamp head, free to glide along the wire. Direct, focused light – always exactly where it's needed. Sinatra Light reinterprets this iconic concept with a refined mechanical logic.

The locking mechanism is as simple as it is ingenious. A slightly curved, eccentrically positioned slot in the lamp body grips a cord running through it. The geometry does all the work: the cord is subtly pinched, holding the lamp firmly in place – no screws, no levers, no additional parts whatsoever.

The result: total flexibility with the most minimal means imaginable. Height: infinitely adjustable along the cord. Tilt: up to 160°. Rotation: 360° around its own axis. Cord. Lamp. Pendulum. Done.
